Charcoal, bentonite, and kaolin clays draw out impurities and absorb excess oil, while Lactic Acid provides mild chemical exfoliation for a softer, smoother-looking complexion.
What are the key ingredients and their roles?
Charcoal Powder acts as a magnet for dirt and toxins; Bentonite and Kaolin Clays absorb excess sebum and refine pores; Lactic Acid provides gentle exfoliation; and sea-derived ingredients help boost hydration so skin is not left feeling stripped.
How often should I use Pollution Control?
Once or twice a week is recommended. As an intensive clay-based mask with exfoliating Lactic Acid, more frequent use can over-dry the skin.
Is it suitable for oily or acne-prone skin?

How do I use it?
Apply an even layer to clean, dry skin. Leave on for the directed time (typically 10–15 minutes — follow the product label), then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Follow with toner and moisturizer.
Will it dry out my skin?
Clay masks can be drying if overused. The inclusion of sea-derived hydrating ingredients helps counterbalance the absorptive effect of the clays, but always following with a moisturizer post-mask is important, especially for drier skin types.
Can I use it in the same week as Renewal A Retinol Serum?

What should I apply after the mask?

Is this the same as a traditional charcoal peel-off mask?

We laughed how we were sitting on the sofa both with mask on, gray faces. We loved the peppermint smell and how it felt on our face during and after washing it off. I highly recommend this product.

Obsessed with this, that’s all I can say. I had a bad acne problem in my cheeks, and I’ve applied this mask to them every night leave on for about 20 minutes and follow up with visible aid. I’m serious, my blemishes dried out because of all the toxins, dirt and bacteria it extracted! Love it!!

My new favorite mask! Gross to see all the impurities come to the surface but leaves my skin feeling fresh and so smooth. It was washes off easy! And isn't too too while drying on the face. It also has a great peppermint smell.

Colour Changing Awesomeness

This is my new go-to mask and I was a complete and utter Muddy Up fan. It goes on smooth, smells great and leaves my skin feeling soft, supple and refreshed. As someone with an oily to acne-prone T-zone, this mask has made a difference. I've noticed my pores are being cleaned out, especially on the tough to get to nose area. Plus, it's so fun because it changes colour! From black to blue-gray then you can see it turn black again in the oilier areas. Definitely try this one out, its the only mask you need in your beauty arsenal.

You can FEEL it working!

Just apply a layer of this to a cleansed face, sit back for 15 minutes and let it do it's thing. You will literally FEEL it working to pull all the junk out of your skin. It will pull all the stuff your skin is exposed to - pollution, smoke, vehicle emissions, etc...................right out of our skin. And your skin will feel so soft afterwards. Love it!

This mask is by FAR my favourite!! Being able to visually see the dark spots coming from my pores and then seeing how small they are after I rinse the mask off is incredible. Not too mention how smooth my face feels afterwards <3
